Harvard Chabad: the soul of Jewish life on campus, serves as a home away from home for thousands of students on the Harvard campus. At Chabad you will experience family warmth, a lively social scene, Jewish ideas and values, and the best food on campus! Rabbi Hirschy and Elkie Zarchi, together with Chabad’s amazing student leaders, bring innovative programs to campus in the welcoming spirit of Chabad, where all feel right at home regardless of background or degree of observance.
Harvard Chabad has set a new standard for student programming and transformed the Jewish experience for undergraduate and graduate students on a university campus. Thousands of students have had their connection to Judaism deepened through the work of Harvard Chabad.
Rabbi Hirschy and Elkie are always available to meet with students to discuss personal, religious and philosophical matters or just to chat over a cup of coffee.

Harvard Chabad has created one of the most dynamic and successful graduate student programs in the Jewish world.
At Harvard Chabad one will find an amazing and rare social hub for an international array of law, business, government, and graduate school students in the faculty of arts and sciences.
Chabad works in partnership with the Jewish student groups on the respective graduate and professional schools to create educational and social events to build a vibrant and inclusive Jewish community.

Welcome to Campus!
Summer Students
Will you be spending your summer in Cambridge?
There’s a wonderful community at Harvard Chabad throughout the summer! The community includes Harvard undergraduate and graduate students who stay in town for internships, research, and summer courses. In addition, there are visiting college and high school students attending Harvard’s summer programs, and other interns and young professionals.
We are open for Shabbat services and meals throughout the summer, and host various other educational and social programs throughout the week. You are always welcome to join.
